【香港的飲食文化|Hong Kong's Food Culture】飲茶 | Drinking Tea |


In the recent issue of Sunday Times ( 8th April ,2018 . ),  Food  critic    -   Ernie Whalley has paid a vist to Ka Shing ,a Chinese restruanrant in Dublin that offers authethic  yet creative Cantonese cusine  and he did met with the dim sum chef which he called him " a Dim Sum Master . "

In the featured article , Whalley showed a fairly good understanding of the 飲茶文化 ( Tea Drinking Culture ) in  Hong Kong (香港)since he has been to Hong Kong ,(香港 )a sererval times  , he did order all the main core dim sum  dishes that truly represent one part of the Food Culture in Hong Kong(香港 ),  these dishes were -

燒賣 (Steamed wheat flour- dumplings with ground   meat and with chopped / whole  strimps and a mix of spring oninion or sometimes carrots .)
蝦餃(Strimp- dumplings .)
 腸粉 ( Steamed Vermicelli Rolls  .)
豉汁蒸排骨(Steamed ribs in black bean sauce .) .

Although , I 'm happy to hear that Ernie Whalley takes a liking in 點心 (Dim Sum )and the 飲茶( Tea Drinking ), I would like him to include the dim sum dishes 's orignal names in his article as well as the romanaised English titles .
